THREE MISTAKES YOU'RE MAKING IN YOUR BUSINESS
Stop! Are you making these 3 mistakes in your business?
❌ You set unrealistic expectations
❌ You compare yourself to others
❌ You no longer enjoy what you do
Which of these do you struggle with the most?
Don't feel bad! We've all been there!
But don't let these mistakes continue, because you're doing more damage than good.
So, how do I combat these in my own business? To be honest with you, it's a work in progress, every single day.
Unrealistic expectations ➡️
This one is particularly difficult for me. I'm my harshest critic and I hold myself to high standards. I combat unrealistic expectations by asking myself what needs to be done now versus what can wait and by not promising deliverables any sooner than I can actually deliver them.
Comparing myself to others ➡️
This is difficult for everyone. In the moment, we can get so caught up in the "why don't I have as many followers", the "why don't I have $10k months", the "why don't I have as many clients", etc. It's important to remember that we're all on our own paths and no two people can have the same successes on the same timeline.
We're all different and that's what makes us and our business journeys unique. You don't have what they have yet, because it's not meant for you yet (or maybe at all). Whatever the 'what' is. Yours is coming.
No longer enjoying what I do ➡️
This one I feel like I've mastered the most. Life is too short to be doing what you don't want to do. I left Corporate America to start my own business on my own terms. That includes offering the services I wish to at the prices I set for the clients I actually want to work with. Whenever I find myself procrastinating a specific service / task, I take a moment to pause and reevaluate if it's something I wish to continue to offer.
We've got this, people. Take it one day at a time! ✨
