HOW TO DECREASE SPAM INTERACTIONS ON INSTAGRAM

If you hate the bots and spam on Instagram, this one's for you!

There is nothing worse than working hard on content that only receives comments like: Send pic to @_______ or PROMOTE IT ON @_____ 🙄

Instagram provides you with the ability to automatically hide comments that contain certain keywords or phrases commonly associated with spam.

Here's how you can set up automatic comment filtering on your account!

1️⃣ Go to your "Settings"

2️⃣ Scroll down to "Privacy"

3️⃣ Tap on "Hidden Words"

4️⃣ Enable "Hide comments" and "Hide message requests" to hide interactions that contain offensive words or phrases

5️⃣ Click "Manage custom words and phrases" to add words, phrases and emojis that you would like to restrict
